Integration with a Ticketing System (Jira)
Blueprints can be integrated with ticketing systems to automatically create new tickets that track your IaC workflows for better visibility. These tickets have information on who generated the Terraform code pull request and a link to the opened pull request. These tickets are also a great way to track the generated Terraform code from creation, review, and up to release. Currently, the only supported source control provider is JIRA (Atlassian). Installation of the Jira app
- To integrate with Jira, head over to the Ticketing tab at the top.
2. To grant access to the AutoCloud Jira app, click Open Jira. You will be redirected to Jira, where you will need to select a site on which to install the app. Make sure you are an admin and have access to the site you require.
3. When the app is installed, a webhook will be provided by Jira. This configuration should be saved and verified to connect AutoCloud with Jira.
4. Finally, once the webhook has been verified, you can select the default Jira Settings, so that there's a default project and assignee for ticket creation.
Changing Default Settings (per generator)
These can also be customized for each generator and you can change these defaults from the settings page at any time. Use the Jira icon in each generator.
