Integration with a Ticketing System (Jira)
Generators are integrated with a ticketing system, as an issue is created with the link to the pull request, and also as way to track the work generated, from creation, review, up to release. For now, we are only supporting Jira (by Atlassian).
- To integrate with Jira, head over to the Ticketing tab at the top.
2. To grant access to the AutoCloud Jira app, click Open Jira. You will be redirected to Jira, were the app will need to be installed. You will need to select a site were to install the app on. Make sure you are an admin, and have access to the sites.
3. When the app is installed, a webhook will be provided by Jira. This configuration should be saved and verified to connect AutoCloud with Jira.
4. Finally, once the webhook has been verified, you can select the default Jira Settings, so that there's a default project and assignee for ticket creation.
These can also be customized for each generator and you can change these defaults from the settings page at any time. Use the Jira icon in each generator.
